Questionable Marketing Campaign of the Day: A commercial for condom brand Durex supposedly banned from airing during the Super Bowl aims to shock viewers with the scariest consequence of unsafe sex yet: Giving birth to a cartoon villain.

This is horrific.

The most horrific thing about this is that a bunch of people thought this was okay. A board who approved it, the guy who thought of it and his team and his boss, the people making it, the marketing department…. This is AWFUL. 

Questionable doesn’t begin to cover it. I clicked on the link. I CHOSE to watch it and it was awful. But how would I feel if this appeared unsolicited and with no warning on my television? Violated. Traumatised.

Durex, really. Just no.
